Use for
Highly infectious waste — all waste generated during contact with a confirmed or suspected HCID patient, regardless of whether it appears contaminated
  • All PPE worn during the episode
  • All packaging opened during the episode
  • All clinical waste from the patient contact
  • Used linen
Do not use for
Routine infectious waste — this bag is for HCID only
Disposal
Do not dispose at scene. Retain on vehicle. Contact HART for collection and decontamination procedures. Double-bag before storing.
